Currently (since 10/2025) The Senior Executive Vice President of the Technion

I got my Ph.D. in 1996 from the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, The Weizmann Institute of Science. After that, I was a visiting lecture at the U.C. Berkeley and a post-doctoral fellow at the  International Computer Science Institute, (ICSI) Berkeley, CA. Before joining the CS faculty, I was a Member of the Technical staff, at the Networking Research Laboratory at Bell labs, Lucent Technologies.  More recently (2014-2017), on a Sabbatical from the Technion, I established and was the first director of Bell Labs site in Israel (related news items are here, and here).  From January 2023 until September 2025 I was the Dean of the Henry and Marilyn Taub Faculty of Computer Science  at the Technion. Since October 2025 I am the Senior Executive Vice President of the Technion.
